Better than expected. Place always looks "closed" and always has its blinds on so it seems uninviting but it actually has pretty solid Chinese fare. Interior is clean and service is pretty polite and pleasant.

Food and service are great! My husband has been a satisfied client for many years and now, I am too.The place's a bit small but and you could feel a little tight but I guess is part of the charm and every one is very well taken care of by the staff (VERY good costumer service).You can bring your family, no hesitation and it's location is perfect, only have to spot the entrance.

I have to tell everyone on the heights in Burnaby that if you try The Double One you will never go anywhere else. Food, Service & Atmosphere are all excellent. Go there.

Great food and service

Best chinese around. Not too traditional as it caters to the tastes of the neighborhood but the owner (Tony) always welcomes everyone like family. I've noticed there's always regulars sitting at the tables so that must be a good sign!

This restaurant was FILTHY and the food was far below average at best. Friendly staff is all you get here. Not to mention their blatant disregard for:Effective Jan 1, 2020, businesses are required to comply with a city-wide ban, which restricts licence holders from serving prepared food and beverages in foam cups and foam take-out containers.

Food was hot and delicious. A consistent quality service and food location in this North Bby neigbourhood. Imho, way better than the Burnaby Palace on Boundary Rd.

Bad service. Manager is rude. Waitress said don't take it personal he is like that. Well not worth coming here anymore, there are other options in the area. Been going here many years and won't be back. Even if you are having a bad day sometimes it's not worth it to take it out on longtime customers.

Best experience I’ve had at a Chinese cuisine restaurant. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Keeping a smile. Could tell the owners and staff must have a great relationship which reflects towards the whole atmosphere. Food was fresh and delicious. 10/10 will be returning and recommending to friends.
